Elizabeth Keane
Elizabeth brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit management to OpenPlans. She is passionate about making day-to-day work more efficient, effective, and enjoyable for everyone. With a background in lean teams she is used to wearing many hats, most notably during her time at the nonprofit coworking space Centre for Social Innovation. Her focus is to ensure all backend operations run smoothly so program staff can seamlessly and consistently deliver impact without distraction.
While simultaneously working at the Broad Institute in an operations role and completing a Masters degree in Criminal Justice at Suffolk University, she realized that her passion and skills lie in the backend work, rather than direct services. After moving to NYC in 2012, she continued to grow in her nonprofit management career supporting growing teams.
