Angel Mendoza
Angel is a creative passionate about flexible, dynamic visuals, and bringing to the fore people's and communities' stories.
His foray into the design and communications world is a little unconventional, having completed a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences before pivoting into the industry. He credits his experience working with urban and rural poor communities in the Philippines, his home country, with crystallizing his virtue of serving through design.
Before joining Open Plans in November 2022, Angel worked as a Marketing Specialist for a non-profit animal shelter in Arizona and as a graphic designer for Staffz, actualizing visions for brands, businesses, and non-profits who aim to make their communities a little bit better every day.
