Wanted to clarify: we think the work SeeClickFix is helping to accomplish in many cities is wonderful and it is probably a great match for many others. Our point, rather, was that already over-extended government agencies unfortunately might not consider adopting systems like these if they don't inherently make their jobs easier. Slight changes were made to the original post in accordance with this correction.

Lily,
It should be noted that SeeClickFix can connect with the internal work-flow system of city governments. The city of San Francisco opted not to integrate with SeeClickFix not because it was not possible.
We would love to chat with you guys about what you are doing and would love suggestions on how we could improve our tool.
The City Of Houston just signed up for 100 SeeClicKFix Pro accounts and three weeks ago a Heroin dealer was arrested on reports gathered from SeeClickFix by Police Detectives. The Fix part of SeeClickFix is alive and well and we would love help in strengthening that .
You can contact me at ben@seeclickfix.com

Lily,
Would you mind reposting my original comment.
Also, I have not heard back from your Dev. On integrating open layers with Seeclickfix.
U had mentioned that u would redact your misrep. Of San francisco's reaction to Seeclickfix as well.
Thanks in advance,
Ben

Hi Ruth and Hatem -

Thanks for asking. That position is no longer available. We do have a couple of other openings available, though: http://openplans.org/about/jobs/

Hope there's something that catches your eye.
