Recently in New York, and now in Chicago; Streetfilms continues its journeys into the galleries of some of the country’s finest institutions.  Streetfilms’ Moving Beyond the Automobile: Bus Rapid Transit is part of the exhibit “Bus Rapid Transit: Next Stop Chicago“ at the Chicago Architecture Foundation.  The exhibit takes a look at how BRT systems are transforming cities around the world, as Chicago prepares to roll out its version of bus rapid transit later this year.

The exhibit opened on June 1st, 2012, it’s free and open to the public.

“Moving Beyond the Automobile: Bus Rapid Transit” is one of the ten episodes in Streetfilms’ celebrated series which explores solutions to the problem of automobile dependency.
