Livable Streets party and…ZoZo sightings?!

On Wednesday, the newly-minted Livable Streets Initiative (LSI) threw a great celebration at powerHouse Arena, and we have the pictures to prove it.

Livable Streets Initiative is the umbrella for our multi-pronged transportation reform efforts – Streetsblog, Streetfilms, and Livable Streets Education, etc. Over the past three years these projects has helped transform New York City’s streets.

We all had a great time and hope you did too. If you haven’t already done so, please sign up to become a member to make the best use of our online tools and resources. Plus, if you upload a fun profile photo, we’ll put you in the running to win a Bike Gift Basket from B’s Bikes in Williamsburg.

Many wonderful partners and supporters were there, including teachers who have been incorporating Livable Streets concepts into their classrooms. Maybe their kids will help us in our efforts to restore ZoZo habitat. What’a a ZoZo, you ask? All is explained in The Search for the ZoZo.
